“So my daughter, Jennifer and I, are on a journey to find good eating spots in the Jacksonville area. Today we found Johny Angel's and we definitely will be returning. If you like the 50's and diners, this is the place to be. All that was missing were the poodle skirts and roller skates. The food was great and the staff and owners were very friendly.
One good indication that a restaurant is good is if its full, well it was packed!
I had the "All American" burger with fries and although I'm was not born in the 50's the burger and the ambiance, certainly brought back good memories.
Lastly, try the Root Beer Float. But I warn you, if you don't have a big appetite, split it with your friends...but don't past it up. It was delicious!

“This place is fantastic!!!!!!! Elvis, Marilyn, Lucile Ball all adorn the walls, but the true star here is the food. Excellent food, HUGE portions and modest pricing. The chicken waffles are outrageous!!! I will be traveling the 2+ hours from Orlando to have breakfast here again. If you like food, you will love Johnny Angels!!!”

“The food is fantastic, and the portions are big. You can see there is a great variety of food on their menu, and there is no way anyone will leave hungry after the Johnny Angel's Diner experience.
The atmosphere is 60's with soft seats and pictures of James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, The 3 Stooges, Johnny Cash...the list goes on and on. It is an optical overdose of deja vu.
And do not forget the staff. They are top notch, friendly and are always ready to help you.
Finally, the best thing is that you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner at any hour. This is great because I am a nurse who works 7 pm to 7 am, and I am not in the mood to eat breakfast at 8 a.m.
